Principal & Licensed Conveyancer

Buying or selling property can be one of the most demanding financial and emotional events of your life. I know this from personal experience, and from guiding many clients through it over more than a decade in practice. It is what drives the way I work.

I am Cathie Mascord, the Principal and owner of ConveyAbility. I am a fully insured and Licensed Conveyancer (Licence No. 05006083) and a Justice of the Peace. Before moving into conveyancing, I spent over 20 years in the advertising and media industry, working with major corporate clients. That background gave me skills that translate directly into this work: matter management, negotiation, attention to detail, and a genuine focus on delivering outcomes for the people I work with.

I completed my Conveyancing Law and Practice qualification at Macquarie University and have been practising as a Licensed Conveyancer for over 11 years. In 2018, I became the owner of ConveyAbility, and in 2024 I was honoured to welcome the clients of Middle Harbour Conveyancing when its founder, Julie Lobascher, retired after more than 30 years in the conveyancing industry.

When you work with ConveyAbility, you work directly with me — not a junior staff member or a call centre. I will explain what is happening at every stage, answer your questions promptly, and make sure your transaction is handled with the care and professionalism it deserves.
